My husband and I were watching direct tv Seattle last night before we went to bed. We were watching the Travel Channel and we saw a great show on travel in Italy. Neither of us has ever been to Italy, but we are dying to go. The show showed some great places to visit. It highlighted the Almafi Coast on the sea. It showed the famous island of Capri. The waters were translucent blue and glittering, absolutely beautiful. It showed a city on the mountains, Positano, where a lot of movies have been filmed. It is even said that the Rolling Stones wrote a lot of their songs in the town. Lastly, they showed another beautiful city of the coast, Portofino. Portofino is famous for being the resort town of the rich and famous. Almost every movie star that you can think of has been photographed on vacation in Portofino. Watching the show took us one step closer to planning our dream vacation in Italy. I hope that we get to go soon!
